Senior Manager, International Tax

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, International Corporate Tax to join us in our San Francisco, CA office.
Washington National Tax (WNT) is the technical core of KPMG's tax practice. Founded in 1959, the WNT team consists of approximately 160 tax professionals, many with significant prior experience at the Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Department of the Treasury, U.S. Congress and the U.S. Tax Court and other federal courts. The practice prides itself on creating a work environment that is research-driven and collaborative. Responsibilities:
Provide tax planning to a full range of corporate clients, including major multinational clients, and work closely with other offices of KPMG LLP to provide those services to their clients
Work with other practice groups in WNT and member firms of KPMG throughout the world
Review tax memoranda and tax opinions
Instruct internal firm courses related to corporate taxation
Review articles and other risk management activities
Qualifications:
Ten years of international corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
Excellent advisory and compliance skills
Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
Licensed CPA or attorney
Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships
Experience with subpart F, tax treaty interpretation, characterization and sourcing of income
Knowledge of ECI, foreign tax credits, and subchapter C
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
